Leonardo practises his losing smile

Leonardo DiCaprio claims he prepared his special Oscars 'good loser' smile for hours beforehand, grinning at himself in front of the mirror in order to make it as convincing as possible.

DiCaprio was up for his role in The Aviator but was beaten by Ray star Jamie Foxx. "I wasn't surprised that Jamie got the award," he said.

"But I knew that cameras would be stuffed up my face so I had my response ready. Anyone who says they don't practice is a liar."
