Stewart and Penny Lancaster Engaged to be Married
NEW YORK, March
12 /PRNewswire/ -- Rod Stewart proposed to his girlfriend
of 5 & 1/2 years Penny Lancaster in Paris on Wednesday on
top of the Eiffel Tower.The
Grammy award-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer took Lancaster's
hand and got down on one knee to pop the question.
Stewart has been
married twice before to Alana Stewart and Rachel Hunter. Said
Stewart: "I left it this long because I wanted to get it right
this time. I've never been happier and more in love than I
am today."
They plan to marry
some time later this year.
